David Beckham's tattoos celebrate his family. Soccer star David Beckham is known as much for his fashion sense and tattoos as he is for is abilities on the playing field. After his start with Manchester United in the UK, Beckham then went to play for Real Madrid before signing a contract to play in the US for Major League Soccer's LA Galaxy team. The majority of Beckham’s tattoos have been done by Manchester tattooist Louis Malloy, one of the most prominent in the UK. Aside from the time that Beckham paid for Malloy’s airfare to Madrid, Spain to do the winged cross on his neck, Malloy has said he charges the same to David as he would any other customer.

Sports stars and tattoos go together, as athletes from all types of sports are now being snapped by paparazzi with their body art visible to the world.


David Beckham's tattoos celebrate his family, including tattoos of the names of his children, his wife Victoria's in Hindi, as well as a tattoo of the Roman number VII to commemorate his stint with Man United (seven was his jersey number). 

 Under the tattoo number there's another Latin sentence, which reads: "Perfectio In Spiritu" (spiritual perfection). Beckham has a passion for Angel Tattoo Designs: a second angel tattoo was inked on David Beckham's neck, whereas a third and a fourth ones found place on his right shoulder and bicep, together with a text reading: "In the face of adversity". Molly made the most of Beckham tattoos.

Beckham has this three sons' names tattooed. The real Christian icon tattoos is the one Beckham has of Jesus Christ. This exact same scene is tattooed on Beckham's torso in simple black and gray.

Besides the Christian tattoos, Beckham also has the number seven tattooed on his right arm.
